Getting a tattoo is one of the most important steps in your life, since it is permanent, we want to make sure that you are 100% satisfied with the outcome. First we will do a consultation to discuss your expectations and vision. Bringing a picture is also helpful, since a picture is worth a thousand words it can be helpful in understanding your needs and wants. Our artists are here not to only design your tattoo but to advise you on what works and what doesn’t based on your skin tone, and type. Once we finalize the details with you, one of our artists will draw the tattoo up and to follow up with you to ensure your final acceptance of the tattoo design and colors. On the day of starting your tattoo, make sure you are well hydrated, bathed and had a good night sleep. Once the design is perfect and properly place, and before the buzzing initiates, make sure the spelling (if the tattoo is a word) is spelled correctly before the procedure starts. If your skin has the following issues, please wait until it has been healed before attempting a tattoo:

  • Acne
  • Sunburn
  • Scraped or scabbed
  • Cut
  • Red or a rash

It is also important to verify with our office if you have a medical condition that requires a doctor’s authorization form completed. Please contact our office before attempting to schedule for a tattoo to get your physician’s authorization form completed on time.

Yes it will hurt, some people state that the outline is more painful than the filling, the feeling is like an electric cat scratch that will make you feel tingly and scratchy together. Try to stay relaxed and calm which will help the artist to finish faster without interruptions. Please let the artist know if you are feeling nauseous, dizzy or faint. The needle is not like a regular needle that penetrates or injects anything. If you want to feel more comfortable let the artists know that you want to see the needle beforehand to help with your anxiety if that helps. It is also important to let your artists know if you want to cough or sneeze or take breaks if the session is too long.

As mentioned since it is permanent, it is highly recommended to double check the spelling before the real work starts. Feel free to call the artist's any time before your tattoo day for any questions about the day before, aftercare or any concerns you have about the tattoo. Take a deep breath and let our experienced, creative artists make your vision come true with the tattoo of your dreams!
